Inateck have been producing some excellent peripherals recently and the Inateck Superspeed 4 port USB 3 card is no exception. It’s well priced and very useful to anyone who either has no, or just a single, USB 3 port. With the number of USB 3 devices increasing, including those by Inateck, this card is a good addition to any PC to stop you from having to plug/unplug periphals from the USB 3 port.
The Inateck 4 port card came will instructions and a couple of different power leads to ensure it’ll work with old and new PCs. You need to ensure you have a free PCI-E slot available and a free power lead from your PSU.
The Inateck card was easy to install (providing you’re OK with opening up your PC, if not you might want to consider the Inateck 4 port hub).
After installing the Inateck card on a Windows 7 PC the enclosed drivers were installed. Once completed the card was up and running and worked brilliantly, it’s incredibly useful not to have to keep plugging and unplugging devices once you’ve got these additional ports.
I've been using the card with an external HD caddy and it powers the drive without a problem. If you don’t have USB 3 peripherals at the moment don’t worry, the card is backwards compatible with previous USB versions so you can easily use it for webcams, printers etc.
