The K&F Concept TM2324 is a compact travel tripod that’s better for those shooting photos than videos photographers than videographers.

The TM2324 comes with a travel case and shoulder strap and when not in use can be collapsed down to just 41cm.  Rather than just retract the legs into themselves the TM2324 also folds the legs back over onto itself (easier to see this in the below review video than describe it!).

While an interesting design it doesn’t appear to offer any advantage over a standard tripod, it wasn’t any smaller than the Matrem PT-55.  However, it does feel like it’s made from better quality materials than the Matrem.

On the top of the tripod is a quick release plate, ball head and spirit level, but this usually isn’t visible as it’s covered by the camera when mounted.  On the bottom is a hook to add an additional 8KG.

The ball head is great for photography, it gives a great range of motion and allows you to position the camera as required for your shot.

While great for photos it didn’t work that well when trying to shoot videos; It’s fine for static shots it’s much hard to use for moving shots compared to a regular tripod head as there is just so much movement in the ball head.

The K&F Concept TM2324 is a well-made compact tripod that should be considered by photographers who need a compact tripod on the go, but there are similarly priced tripods that are better all rounders for photo and video.
