Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 Review

The Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 is a surprisingly good mobile considering the really low price tag.

You’ll see in the below review video the Smart Ultra 6 comes with a 5.5″ screen that has a large bezel. Keys are at the bottom and they are backlit, with the middle button acting as a flashing notification light.  The back and battery aren’t removable.

At the time of review the Ultra 6 came with Android 5.0.2 and it runs really well. There was also a lot of Vodafone apps pre-installed, but nicely these can be uninstalled if you don’t want them.

There are two cameras, a 5MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear facing camera.

Although the Smart Ultra 6 occasionally needed a hand to focus on the object of the photo (by click the object on the screen) overall the camera is very good, it’s able to produce nice looking photos with minimal fuss or add ons, giving a good depth of field effect quickly and easily.

As well as the auto photo mode there are a number of built in photo modes, such as panorama or smile detection, as well as a number of filters allowing you to take a photo directly with a filter rather than taking a photo and applying a filter afterwards.

Web browsing, video streaming and gaming all looked good on the large screen, with it handling games without any problems, they nip along nicely and your hands don’t get in the way when using the on screen controls.

Although it’s a large mobile it’s very light, and depending on your personal preference this will either be a good thing or you’ll find it too light.

However when you consider the really low price this is a great all round mobile.
