If you like the look of the recently reviewed Arctic S111 M speaker system, but didn’t like it being a wired connection, then you’re after the Bluetooth packing Arctic S111 BT portable sound system.  A lot of people buy Bluetooth speakers for portability, what impresses about these is they actually come with a case to make them easily transportable.  The case itself can hold the charging cable and line in cable as well as the speakers.

The Arctic S111 BT speakers come in a range of colours, you’ll see the blue version in the video below, and they looks really good. The pair are connected by a white wire, short enough to make it easy to pack away in the case but also long enough to give you proper stereo seperation, something usually missing on low cost speakers.

Sound quality is good, music is nice and clear and there is little distortion when the volume is dialled up. I love the open design that allows you to see the speakers pulse and vibrate when you turn the music up. As you’d expect for this size and low cost there isn’t really any bass.  The Arctic S111 BT are packing bluetooth 4 connectivity as well as a battery that should last you up to 12 hours.  They’re tiny at just 7cm x 7cm x 7cm and are light enough in the case to easily carry around.

They’re very easy to setup, either via Bluetooth or by plugging in a 3.5mm wire and you’ll be dancing around the room in a couple of minutes.  When it’s time to go the travel case is a great bonus to a good set of speakers.
