The Bago Duffle Bag is an interesting take on the traditional duffle bag design. Most people don’t need to use a duffle bag all the time and will find they take up space when not in use, or they end up getting damaged by being bent out of shape to be stored away.
Offer four different colours, black, blue, green and pink, Bago have come up with a design that takes a large duffle bag and allows it to be folded down for easy storage.
It arrives in the flat state and includes a checklist of things you may want to consider before travelling.
The duffle bag is made from ‘Honeycome RipStop’ fabric which is claimed to resist wear and tear, and in the folded down mode this would easily fit inside a locker.
When folded you have access to a couple of pockets, on the front and back, that are useful for slim items.
When unfolded it into it’s duffle bag form these pockets form the side pockets. The Bago duffle bag offers a large amount of space in the main compartment and a separate compartment useful for items such as dirty shoes. You can either carry this using handles or you can attach a shoulder strap.
In use the zips felt a little sticky at times and when folding it down the main outer zip actually split, you need to make sure it’s really flat to avoid this situation. While it’s brilliant you can fold this down for storage it does mean it lacks the traditional rigid structure you’d find on a normal duffle bag, less of an issue if you fill this with lots of stuff.
It’s a smart design and would be useful not just at home, but when travelling as the compact design means you could take this with you and unfold when you’re in need of extra luggage space.
