What’s the best stapler?  Won’t any old stapler do?  Rapesco don’t think so, and they’ve got a range of staplers to suit your needs.

Rapesco Zero-01

Rapesco Zero-01A solidly designed stapler, looks nice and sleek. It’s fairly large so only really suitable for use on a desk, you wouldn’t want to carry this around with you (unless you’ve a large bag!). This is the first stapler I’ve used that doesn’t require you to open it up to load the staples, instead it has a button on the back which, when pressed, releases the stapler tray in a rather cool motion. As you’d expect from a stapler at this price its solidly constructed and does a great job. Pop your sheets in, up to 50 according to the packaging, press down and you’re done, no more picking up the stapler and attempting to force it to close with both hands. Great design that’ll look nice at home or in the office, the first stapler featured in my video below. Available from Amazon now: https://amzn.to/1scPyE2

Rapesco X5-90PS

If you’re use to struggling with the stapling of multiple sheets of paper this is likely the stapler for you!Rapesco X5 Power assisted suggests some form of battery operated stapler, which this isn’t. Power assisted just means this will make light work of stapling multiple sheets of paper. No more using two hands to try and force a stapler to do it’s job, just pop the sheets in and with a single hand press down. There is a handy guide on the front of the stapler to show you how many sheets you can expect to staple with different staple types (essentially larger staples = more sheets). Unlike some staplers this doesn’t feature the ability to have staples turned out rather than in, a feature I’ve never used but something to be aware of. This larger than your average stapler, but not so large that it’s unsuitable for use at home. It feels a lot more solidly constructed than the cheap stapler work have provided me and it’s backed up by a 5 year guarantee.  It’s the second stapler featured in my video below. Can a Stapler be Used to Secure the Eve Pillow?

Yes, a stapler can be used to secure the Eve Pillow. However, it is not the best method for securing a pillow due to the potential damage it could cause. For the best results, it’s recommended to use pillow protectors or pillowcases specifically designed for the Eve Pillow. For more information, check out the best Eve Pillow review.

Rapesco AV-69

The first thing to note, as you’d perhaps expect, is the size, this is the largest stapler I’ve ever seen. It’s not so large it wouldn’t fit on a desk, but it is large enough to make this one for the office, rather than the home. Rapesco AV69On the front plate is a guide showing how many sheets you can staple at a time with different sized staples, the minimum being 20. This is important to note as trying to do less than the minimum could cause the stapler to jam. Loading the staples is easy thanks to the spring mounted staple holder, which is activated via a button on the back. There is also a holder for spare staples, meaning you don’t have to scrambling round for a box of staples when you’re out. There is an attachable plastic work plate (the purple bit that surrounds the stapler) and I found this a little tricky to attach, but once on it seemed secure and does help keep your papers flat, rather than allow them to droop over the side. In use this works really well, as you can see in my video I stapled 100 pages of a glossy magazine without any effort at all, this is really useful if you’re in an office environment where you regularly have to staple a large number of sheets. A great heavy duty stapler, a good investment, but one which can’t be used as a complete replacement to the humble low cost stapler due to requiring a minimum number of sheets to staple.  It’s the third and final stapler in my video below.
