Nokia Lumia 620

The Nokia Lumia 620 is a mid range smartphone launch to attract new users away from more established operating systems, but is it good enough?

For those looking for a change from the usual Android/Apple offering the Nokia Lumia 620 offers an interesting alternative.  A mid range phone which runs Windows 8 really well, its very smooth and doesn’t suffer from any animation lag that you might find on low end Android handsets.

Windows 8 itself comes with a lot of features pre-installed (although the sat nav software needs to have maps downloaded before it can be used) meaning you are up and running within a few minutes with all the basic apps covered by Windows itself.

Setup itself is really easy, just pop your usernames and passwords in to various accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and the handset starts to pull down information from your accounts.  You view this information on a nice and clear http://phentermine-med.com screen, and with the interface having a simple, large button, layout this is a great phone for someone who wants a simple device with excellent free sat nav.

Something often missing from modern smartphones is a dedicated camera key.  Not so with the Nokia Lumia 620, the dedicated key is far easier to use than on screen camera controls and means the Nokia Lumia 620 can double up as a decent camera you can very quickly take snaps with.

So why not 5 stars? Well although Nokia still make great handsets the Nokia Lumia 620 was a little disappointing in how plasticy it feels for the price.  I think that’s mainly due to the interchangeable back cover, but in the short hands on test the Sony Xperia Go appeared to offer a more premium feel for a lower cost.  So while overall a good phone it’s not a great one.
