Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Fury Gaming Headset Review
The Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Fury Dual Mode Gaming Headset not only comes with a very long name, but also a detachable microphone and a aux to USB converter.
The converter is required as the Tactic3D Fury headphones have an aux connection on them rather than USB. In theory this should mean these can be used with your mobile, however that is dependant on your mobile being compatible with this particula aux connection and I found the HTC One M9 unfortunately wasn’t. If you do happen to have a compatible mobile these could be good for things like video calling.
It’s a pity they didn’t work with the M9 as the sound quality when tested on a PC is very good, music sounds good, games sound good, music in games sounds good! You get a decent bass sound for explosions and they’re not too noisy for anyone in the same room.
The Tactic3D Fury mic offers decent quality and the included software gives a wide range of voice FX to make use of. Check out the video for examples of the voices, you can listen back live as you’re speaking to get an idea of what each does.
Unfortunately the Tactic3D Fury are let down by the overall build quality, it feels a little plasticy and the cups felt a little too small. The headphones were OK for a while but didn’t seem comfortable enough to make use of for a long period of time.
