FSL Zinc Metalic BlueThe FSL Zinc Zn30 headphones are low cost wired headphones that give you a lot for a low price tag.  You can pick from 4 different colours: bronze, metallic blue, gunmetal grey and metallic red.  Testing the metallic blue option these look like a brilliant pair of headphones, with the colour giving them a premium look about them.

The headphones come with an anti tangle wire, which sounds like a gimmick but if you’ve ever had this you’ll know how fantastic it is in reducing the amount of time you spend untangling it.  The wire is a decent length as well, allowing you to plug these into something in your pocket. The Zinc Zn30s sound brilliant, they fit snugly in ear and block out background noise really well, this is something to watch out for as if out and about with these in you might find you don’t hear something important going on around you.  They’re very small and discrete and they’ll work with any device that has a 3.5mm headphone socket, be aware that these are headphones only and you won’t be able to use them as a hands free kit for your mobile. I’m very impressed that for the price you get so many options included, collectively called the ‘Tectonic fit kit’.  This kit is used to adjust the headphones to ensure you get the most comfortable fit and it includes: 4 x silicone tips (4 sizes) 1 x double flanged tips 1 x expanding foam tips 3 x ear fins (3 sizes) which give extra grip in the ear 1 x pair of ear hooks to wear over the ear The silicone tips already on the Zinc Zn30s were a good fit right out of the box, but it’s great to see so many options available, even if you’ve small or large ears this kit means almost everybody could use the headphones.   The included instructions were very clear and demonstrated how to use the ear fins and over ear hooks.  As if that wasn’t enough, you also get a wire clip and carry case included, making this a fantastic all round package. You might expect with all these extras for the sound quality to suffer.  Not so, the sound quality is excellent once you have the headphones snugly fitted.  The initial impression was that they were tinny, at lest until they were correctly fitted in ear.  Once correctly in place the sound quality was great, with music very clear and a good bass. If you’re after some low cost in ear headphones these are excellent and available on Amazon now: https://goo.gl/BqXy1F

Sounds very odd, I’ve not encountered any problems. The only obvious thing to check is…have you turned the volume up on the iPad?!
