The Philips HR1863/01 is a nice compact juicer ideal for those looking to introduce more fruit and veg into their daily routine.  This also happens to be one of the juicers recommended by Jason ‘Juice Master’ Vale, so you know it’s been built for heavy use.

Searching Amazon there are a range of juicers available at many different price points, with some costing well over £100.  Sitting under £100 the Philips HR1863/01 does everything you’ll need a juicer to do.  Construction is sturdy and it comes with sucker feet on the bottom to ensure it doesn’t jump around when the motor is running.  I especially like the transparent top through which you can see the Philips HR1863/01 at work, it makes juicing something of a spectacle, especially when juicing items rich in colour, such as beetroot.

The Philips HR1863/01 produces beautifully smooth juice, it come out without any lumps or pips, and the taste of fresh fruit is fantastic and very different to the supermarket juice.  It can easily handle oranges, carrots, pineapples, but is also able to mix things up a bit with ginger, kale or basil, allowing you to infuse additional flavors into your drinks.

It's clear the designers have considered cleaning, as the Philips HR1863/01 is actually fairly easy to clean, you can quickly dismantle the top half for either hand washing or for putting in a dishwasher.  Taking the Philips HR1863/01 apart also allow you to scoop out the remaining pulp,.

A great looking unit that doesn't take up too much space and doesn't cost a fortune, the Philips HR1863/01 is available on Amazon now: https://goo.gl/R5p18n
