The Solememo Myvision N16 comes hot on the heels of the recently reviewed EC Technology Bluetooth speaker of a similar rectangular design.
The Myvision N16 has a nice look to it with rectangular design and textured speaker grill. The speaker grill has a number of different colour options, on test was the red version which looked really good against the rest of the black speaker.
On the top are touch sensitive buttons for volume and Bluetooth controls. On one side of the speaker is the on/off, power in, aux in and memory card slot.
This is a Bluetooth 3 speaker and as with other speakers it was easy to setup, just turn it on, find it in your Bluetooth pairing menu and you’re ready to stream.
Sound quality for the price was fairly good, you get a decent volume but very little bass. There was a noticeable noise before and after song playback, a sort of interference crackle which hasn’t been captured that well in my video. During music playback this wasn’t an issue but when using the speaker to output sound from a mobile game this noise was a lot more annoying.
It’s a nice size and it looks and feels great, especially considering the low price tag. However I’ve heard better sounding speakers for the same price and the interference noise could become very annoying if you’re using it for something other than music.
A nice looking speaker with average sound quality for a decent price, it’s available from Amazon now: https://amzn.to/1BAF2KJ
