The Bluefinger Keyboard and mouse combination offer a compact and portable little USB set.
Available in both black and white the Bluefinger suite are made from plastic and connect to your device via a 2.4G USB dongle, making installation very easy, just plug the USB dongle into your device and it should auto install and be ready to use within a minute.
A nice design touch is that the included USB dongle is stored in the mouse when not in use, you don’t need to search around the bottom of your bag looking for it.
The Bluefinger mouse itself is very small and not something you’ll want to use as a main mouse but the perfect size for travelling. It’s powered by a single battery which is added to the mouse by removing the top of the mouse case, this proved to be rather tricky.
Fortunately putting the mouse back together was much easier. The mouse has left and right buttons along with a scroll wheel, but no forwards/back buttons on the side, unsurprising given the low cost and tiny size of the mouse.
The Bluefinger keyboard is a nice size, compact enough to carry about but big enough to type on if you’re use to a full sized keyboard. The build quality is just OK, and during testing one of the little feet on the keyboard fell off very quickly.
Be aware the unit sent for review was US layout keyboard rather than UK layout. It’s not a problem if you know where keys are on a UK layout keyboard, but if you’re someone who has to look down when typing you might find it frustrating that you can’t find the £ key.
Not a bad keyboard given the low price tag.
