The Cobra Airwave Bluetooth speaker gives you music on the go, even with water about.

The Airwave is mostly black, with a little splash of orange around the back and sides.  The rear has the Cobra logo and on one side there are inputs for charging and an aux in that are protected by a sealed panel.

Cobra have made the Airwave IPX7 rated which means it’ll withstand being submerged under up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.  In practice it’s unlikely to stay submerged for long, as you’ll see in the review video below If you do accidentally drop this into water it will float and won’t disappear underwater.

There are control buttons on the top for play/pause and volume.

If this does get dropped in the drink it’s fairly quick to dry off, although there are lots of nooks and crannies that can be awkward to access.

Sound quality is OK, the volume isn’t as loud as I’d expect, but at least it does provide a bit of bass, it was actually better than I expected for the price considering it’s also waterproof.  It’ll keep playing even if it’s wet, although as you’d expect water will muffle and distort the sound if it sits on top of the speakers (on the plus side you can make water jump by putting on something with a bit of bass!).
