This is an interesting VR headset as it offers a feature not usually found on these sorts of headsets, the options to use this for Augmented Reality.

The headset itself is rather striking in design, rather than copy the usual look of Oculus Rift the designers seem to have gone more for the look of Stormtroopers!

It comes mostly assembled, you just need to add the elasticated Velcro head straps which only take a moment to put on and they’re easily adjustable to get a comfortable fit.

This is a front loading headset and interestingly there are little suction pads to grip your mobile in place. The front section can be easily dropped down in case you need access to the phone screen.

There are gaps at the side for either a headphone wire or to allow the phone sound to be easily heard.

Interestingly the front features a removable panel which, was difficult to remove and it feels like something might break whenever you do remove this. By removing this plate you allow your phone to be able to make use of it’s camera, so for example there is an app that changes everything you see into a black and white pencil sketch, it’s a very cool app and after a few moments you’ll be walking around looking at everything as a live drawing!

The headset worked well for VR games, and it’s a lot of fun playing games when stood outdoors rather than being stuck in the house.

Overall the headset is fairly comfortable, the phone felt secure, but this does seem like a rather bulky headset compared to others available.
