Edifier E10BT Exclaim Bluetooth Speakers Review

The Edifier E10BT Exclaim bluetooth speakers take an interesting approach to desk based speaker design, passing over the usual boxy look in favour of a large sphere at the bottom with a bar on the front.

The base sections contain a 3 inch woofer and 3 inch passive bass radiator and you can see these in action with the sides visibly vibrating.

Setup is very easy, there is a cable to link the two speakers together, a standard aux cable is included to connect the speakers to your device and a power cable to get it up and running.

The sound quality, as seems to be the case with all Edifier products, is very good and perfect for those who want a stylish set of speakers for use with a PC, and they sound especially good when listening to music.  Given the size of the E10BT Exclaim speakers you get just the right level of bass considering you’re likely to be sat directly in front of them.

The E10BT Exclaim speakers also feature Bluetooth and you can quickly switch between audio from the aux cable and audio from a Bluetooth source, great if you want to use these with the PC for gaming but then swap to your mobile for music.

While the overall design looks great there is one minor niggle, the left hand speaker has the controls, while they’re sensibly placed the design of the speakers means that you need to support the speaker when pressing the button, the unit isn’t heavy enough to stay in place pressure is applied to the button.

For volume control this is less of an issue as you’ll likely control the volume from the source device, e.g. turning it down on your mobile.

Aside from this minor niggle these are a great set of speakers, especially for those looking for a stylish option to be visible on a desk.
