Official Rubik’s Bluetooth Speaker Review

The Rubik’s bluetooth speaker is a fun little Bluetooth speaker for those looking for something a little different to the usual black box bluetooth speaker.

The small cube has lights on each side panel that can be set to flash in different ways at the touch of a button.  The button is located on the bottom of the cube along with a charging point, power button and aux in.  The top section is the speaker grill and this has a couple of small lights to show power is on and if Bluetooth is ready for pairing.

Once you’ve paired with the Rubik’s speaker it’ll automatically re-pair with your device next time it’s powered on.

Rubik's Speaker

The light aspect is fun and means the Rubik’s speaker stands out from the crowd.  There are different modes and most of the modes are passive, i.e. they just light up and run through a pre-set sequence.  However one of the modes, as you’ll see in the video below, is active and allows the Rubik’s speaker to flash in time with the music.

Music quality is OK, you’re paying for the light show more than sound quality so don’t expect to be blown away as it’s a little tinny sounding, but the good news is this easily fills a room with music and when you power on the lights this makes this a fun little product that kids will love.
